Lewis G. Holmes, 84, died February 21, 2018 at Brightwater.
Born on June 21, 1933 in Falls Church, VA, he was the son of the late Hugh and Martha James Holmes.
Mr. Holmes is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Bransom Holmes; three daughters, Janet Roberts (Chuck), Cindy Turner (Michael) and Shari Holmes (Wayne Byrd); sister, Edith Calhoon; six grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, February 26 at Living Water Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Living Water Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1569 Hwy 9 East, Longs, SC 29568.
