Linda K. Harper

Linda K. Harper, 70, passed away Sunday afternoon, January 22, 2017 at her residence after an illness.

Linda was born in Gaffney, SC, a daughter of Dorothy Childers Roberts and the late John T. “Jack” Roberts. She graduated from Blacksburg High School and later Winthrop University with her Masters in Education. She taught school for 42 years in both Cherokee County, SC and Columbus County, NC.

In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by a sister, Anita Collins.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Johnny T. Harper; daughter, Missy Harper; mother, Dorothy; brother, Johnny Roberts and his wife, Nancy and their children, Brian and Christopher Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9909.

Friends are welcome to visit family at the home at any time.
