You have been in my life ever since I was 2 years old. You were not like a mother to me, you WERE a mother to me. You took care of me and always made sure I had what I needed. You have always been there, no matter the circumstances, you were there. You have taught me to be strong, and kind but also not to take no crap from anybody. You taught me how to be able to just look at someone and they know immediately how I felt. At least I like to think I got that from you anyways. You also taught me how to be a mom. I have watched how much you care for your children and how to always put your family first and I am so thankful that Gracelyn got to meet you. You were there for me when Gracelyn had to have her surgery, constantly letting me know that everything was gonna be alright. I hate that we didn’t get to see you much. But the times we did and the joy Gracelyn brought you is something I will always hold on to. But it also breaks my heart that she has to grow up without you. But I promise she will know her Nana Linda and how much you loved her. I’m also very thankful that we got to see you last weekend for Mother’s Day. Kristy planning to surprise you was the best thing and the look of pure joy on your face and your arms stretched out for us is something I will cherish. I’m happy that was the last memory I got to make with you. I already miss you so much but i know you are in a better place and I am trying to find peace in that. I know this isn’t goodbye forever but goodbye for now. I love you and I promise I will take care of your girl for you here on earth as I know you will watch over her from above 💜👼🏻
