Loyd Wilson Ward, 79, died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center.
Born on October 7, 1937 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Dillon and Melnita Todd Ward.
Mr. Ward was a pastor for 20 years.
Mr. Ward is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janie Demily Moore Ward; sons, Rocky Ward, Scott Mishoe; daughter, Elizabeth “Candy” Faulk; brother, Larry Ward; nine grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, November 21 at United Vision Pentecostal Church, Hwy 130, Shallotte, NC. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Hickman’s Crossroads, NC.
