Marcel Jeannot Dube’, 73, of Little River, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at his home with his wife and daughter by his side. Born in Trois-Rivieres, Canada, Marcel was the son of the late Real and Yvonne Tremblay Dube’. He was the husband of 33 years to Eleanor Colangelo-Dube.
Although born in Canada, Marcel became an American citizen and proudly served in the US Air Force as a Sgt. from 1968-1972. A man strong in his faith, he was an active member of Our Lady Star of the Sea. Marcel was a member of the Knights of Columbus #7721 and #2431; Secretary to the District Master of South Carolina; Secretary to South Carolina Accountant; Past Faithful Navigator; and Past Grand Knight.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Eleanor are his sons, Marc Dube’, Daniel (Kristen) Dube’; daughter, Francine (Karl) Lizotte; grandchildren, Emily Lizotte, Maurice Lizotte, Skie Yeager, Alex Dube’, Lena Dube’, Peter Dube’ and Kyle Dube’. He is also survived by his sisters, Noelline (John) Lisic, Monique (Michael) DellDonna, Raymonde (Mark) Voll; and brother Andrew Dube’ (Joseph).
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
