

Marcie was a devoted wife, cherished daughter, loving sister, and extraordinary mother whose greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her children. She shared 29 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, John Belisle, and together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family. Her children, James and Julia, were the center of her world, and she took immense pride in the people they became.
Marcie had a rare gift for making everyone around her feel welcome. Her infectious laugh, radiant smile, and unmatched sense of humor could brighten even the darkest day. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered.
Hardworking and selfless, Marcie was deeply committed to her family and community. She generously volunteered at her children's schools, always willing to lend a helping hand. She was known for putting others before herself and for making everyone she met feel valued and loved.
Professionally, Marcie was a beloved and respected manager at Boston's on the Beach in Delray Beach, Florida. Her no-nonsense leadership earned the respect of her coworkers, while her playful personality and legendary pranks made her the heart of the workplace. She built lasting friendships and left behind countless stories that will continue to be shared with laughter.
Marcie treasured life's simple pleasures. She loved spending sunny days on the boat at Peanut Island, vacationing in Key West, and creating lifelong memories with the Kelley family. She adored her French bulldog, Luna, who was her faithful companion. Whether listening to Kenny Chesney or the Grateful Dead, music was often the soundtrack to the moments she cherished most.
Marcie is survived by her devoted husband of 29 years, John Belisle; her son, James Belisle; her daughter, Julia Belisle; her mother, Lenore Sherriff; her brother, Tyler Sherriff; her sister, Caity Whitaker; her brothers, Christopher Kelley and Kevin Kelley; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives she touched.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC 29566, to celebrate Marcie's life and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
