Margaret L. Brainard

She was the loving wife of the late Edward Brainard who passed away in 1989 and the loving wife of the late William Bonathan, who passed away in 1963.

Margaret was born on July 2, 1920 in Terra Cotta, Ontario, Canada. Daughter of the late Harry and Lillie (Dawson) Hayward.

She worked for Pat Trexler in Myrtle Beach.

She was a member of Little River United Methodist Church.

She was a was a talented knitter and pattern maker. She was a gifted crafter. She loved her family.

She is survived by two daughters; Judith Anne Addy (Roger) of Ontario, Canada and Mary Spears of Little River, SC.

A stepson, Ward Brainard.

Three grandchildren; Sean (Raina), Robin (Heather) and Heather. four great grandchildren; Karleen (Jason), Allison, Jamie, and Melanie. One great great granddaughter, Zoey.

She was preceded in death by a brother, William.

Service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little River United Methodist Church.
