Margaret "Peggie" H. Moser

She is also survived by her daughter, Kelly Wedell and son-in-law Rick Wedell of Asheville, NC; son, David Moser of Colorado Springs, CO; sisters, Jane Hawkins of Boston, VA, and Virginia Hodgson of Medford, OR; granddaughter, Laney Wedell; grandson, Jacob Moser; along with two great grandchildren, Ophelia and Leon La Rue.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Virginia Hodgson; brothers-in-law, Phil Hawkins, Kenneth Moser; along with her sister-in-law, Joanne Moser.

Peggie was active in charitable organizations and a longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi, a social sorority focused on philanthropic endeavors, where she held various officer positions.

Peggie never met a “stranger” and embraced all in conversation, especially babies. She treasured traveling, shag dancing, spending days sunning on the beach and loved deeply her many pets throughout her life.

A celebration of life is tentatively scheduled for October 2026, in Hickory, NC where she and Charlie lived for many years.
