Margie C. Livingston

Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was always her highest priority and she gave steadfast support, unwavering love, and wise guidance to her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Margie was born on August 9, 1944, in the Chestnut Hill area of Myrtle Beach, the daughter of Stokes W. Chestnut and Louise Carter Chestnut.

She was the widow of Gordon Wayne Livingston, who died in 2005.

Margie leaves behind two sons, David Wayne Livingston and his wife Amy Ann Livingston, and Mitchell Wayne Livingston and his wife Melinda (Mindy) Livingston.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Michael Wayne Livingston his wife Sydney Gore Livingston, Morgan Lee Livingston and Brittany Callahan and Justin David Livingston.

She is survived by four great-grandchildren, Indiana Wayne Livingston, Sebastian Huron Livingston, Sarah Grace Livingston, and Phoebe Louise Livingston.

She is also survived by three sisters, Bertha Jean Chestnut Cribb, Margo Chestnut Herring, and Susie Chestnut Taylor (Steve), as well as a brother, Bill Chestnut (Allyson). Her eldest brother, Hoyt “Topsy” Chestnut died in 2014. She also leaves behind a great many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Foundations Church at 350 Hwy 90 East, Little River, SC, 29566 on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
