

Molly Gill Culbreth passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026, at home in Little River South Carolina. Molly was born in Forty Fort, PA on January 16,1956. She was the beloved daughter of Mollie Crossin Gill and Dr. John Gill. Molly attended Holy Name of Jesus Elementary School in Forty Fort and Central Catholic High School in Kingston. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. Molly eventually moved to Fayetteville, NC where she managed the Fayetteville Postal Credit Union for more than thirty years until she retired and moved to South Carolina.
Molly was an avid golfer who enjoyed the challenge of many golf courses throughout the United States. She loved major league baseball games especially on Opening Day. Molly was a fiercely passionate Yankees fan who collected many mementos of her favorite team. After enjoying a game of golf or a Yankees game, Molly liked to relax to the rhythm of her favorite Jazz music or go for a swim.
Molly is survived by her husband Derryl Culbreth, her brothers and sisters: Attorney John Gill and Marie Gill, Forty Fort PA, Margaret Duffy, Newtown PA, Dr. Kevin and Marianne Gill, Hollis NH, Ned Gill, Wyoming PA, Mark Gill, Kingston PA, and Tom and Judy Gill, Louisville KY, Vernon Culbreth, Stedman NC, Karen and James Cameron, Indian Trail NC and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by Dr. Jonn Gill, Mollie Crossin Gill, James Gill, Jasper Vernon Culbreth, Leola Bunce Culbreth, Barbara Ann Culbreth, and Francis Duffy
Molly devoted her life to her family, friends, the Yankees, swimming, and golf. She will be remembered for her kindness, contagious smile, and generous nature. Everyone who met Molly was an instant friend who she cherished.Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Lee’s Funeral Home, 11840 Highway 90, Little River SC. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.
