I lived just behind Ms Lehman and Ms Light in Shippensburg and feel so lucky to have had them as neighbors. When I was begging my parents for a puppy, they'd let me hang out with their sweet dog Bo. And, after I got my puppy, Ms Lehman and Ms Light brought Bo over to her birthday party. Sending loving thoughts to all those who loved and miss Ms Lehman.

Sincere sympathy to all those close to Miss Lehman.  She was my gym teacher in the 60's. I will always remember how she treated everyone with respect and kindness.  She was a gentle woman that we all respected.  I was not very athletic but she made me feel I wasn't a loser.  She touched so many lives in her career and leaves behind a lot of good memories to those who had the privilege to have had her as a teacher. She lived a long life--God bless her.

I attended SASHS during the 60's, Pat was one of the teachers who influenced my decision to attend college to become a teacher.  My first job was in a school district where I worked with a teacher who was a friend of Ms Lehman.  While this made me think that this really  is a small world: Pat, however, was a big influence on the students she encountered.

So sorry to hear about this iconic lady passing.  She coached and taught my mom along with myself.   Prayers and strength to her family.

I will miss all the special times that we had together. Whether playing golf, eating out, or just hanging out as NMB neighbors, we had some great times. She was a great mentor as phys ed teacher, class, advisor, and GAA advisor, and friend.  Her passing will leave a hole in my heart.

Dear Miss Light,
I am so sorry for your loss. 
You were my Second Grade teacher at Rowland Lab (your first year you taught there) and Miss Lehman was my Phys Ed teacher in Senior High. Both of you were 2 of my favorite teachers. 
It has been a long time since I saw you and Miss Lehman that I don't even remember when that was. I will always remember both you as you were when you were my teachers. Forever young.

Miss Lehman was a wonderful teacher and Christian. She was always fair and encouraging, even to me, someone with no athletic abilities whatsoever. May she rest in peace.

I will always have fond memories of Miss Lehman. She gave me support in a difficult situation at a time when I needed it most. 
She will be missed and remembered by many. My condolences to Miss Light, who I also remember from Rowland Laboratory School.

Miss Lehman, my high school gym teacher, who became Mary my friend, was a role model for me. She was always fair and honest- a true inspiration and a woman of remarkable integrity. I will miss her.
