To Lisa, Gary and your siblings, I am truly sorry for the loss of your dad. It's never easy. We must remember the good times and remind ourselves that they are in heaven and we will be reunited with them someday. May the Lord continue to give you peace and assurance that your dad is okay and happier than he's ever been. Sending lots of love to all of you.

I'm going to miss the chats we would have during afternoon walks when I would visit. I'm glad you are not in pain any longer and surrounded by peace in paradise. I love you and will miss you until we meet again..

We spent several years in a Bible Study group with Mike and Shirley.  What a wonderful loving  couple.  Family was so important to Mike.  Shirley, you have such  wonderful memories from all your travels.  

Always such a handsome man. We’re going to 
miss you, but I’m sure you’re without pain!
We’ll take good care of Shirley.

It was a sad day when we heard of Uncle Mike’s passing. I will always remember his sweet smile. Know he is with God now and be thankful he is at peace. 

I had the pleasure of caring for Mike on several occasions and got to know him and his lovely wife Shirley. He was a tough man and overcame a lot of obstacles.  The first time I met him he told me that he was not going to participate in therapy. I told him that the first day was a break and then it was hard work afterwards. Towards the end of his therapy, prior to him discharging we had a bet that he could walk to me. He did that just that, and when he got to me he was crying and so was I. That was so special. I adored him and his wife. He told me many stores of his family and I know that he loved each and everyone of them. He also expressed his love so many times for his wife. I am sure that he will be missed and I am grateful and thankful to have crossed his path. He taught me a lot just by the conversations that we had. I love you Ms. Shirley and will continue praying for you. 

I love Mike and Shirley, loved being part of Shirley’s team in the 9:30 service, considered 
it a joy to be able to visit him when he was in 
the hospital.

For all the times we were able to make 
memories together I am thankful.  For all the
times I saw Christ love shining through 
your eyes I am eternally grateful…

I am very sure you’ll be in the crowd 
welcoming me in when it’s my time to join the 
Church Triumphant, Mike.  Until then you will
be very missed by all who love you and all who
you loved so well 

We, Tom & I were so blessed to have had the opportunity to spend some time with him last
fall. Got to share some of our awesome 
memories like camping with our families, and
he & Tom hunting and fishing.  He will be 
missed dearly. Our hearts & Prayers go out to
Shirley and the entire family!   I so
wish I could have made the Alaska trip happen to complete the 50th state!

Where do I start? Mike was the sweetest man, 
always a gentleman, standing when I bent to
give him a hug. We have some wonderful 
memories, went on a Hawaiian vacation 
together, shared laughter over the “Train
Game”, many nice dinners, celebrating New
Years Eve Party. We loved Mike and will miss 
his smile and compassionate soul, but will 
always be there for our dear friend, Shirley.

Mike was a great inspiration to both of us.
He cared more about what you were going through, than himself. We shared his love for
my butterscotch pies and I tried to treat him
to them when I could. We will miss our
dear friend, but will treasure his memory 
forever. Shirley, we have grown to love you
and your family and will be here for you.

A Great man and father. He made you feel like part of his family everytime you where with him. Had great times with him wether I was visiting wi th him and his family or we where out hunting. Will miss him alot.

He was there, too
To greet my little one and say
Hello, I love you.
And now that man who loved me,
And wrapped me in arms so strong
Has gone where I can't reach him,
But my love for him lives on.
I'll keep his memory alive,
and honor all he believed,
And just feel so very grateful
For all his love that I received.

Loved you a ton Pepe. I know you're in a better place now. I will miss you a lot. 

Mike sure was a great guy.  Everytime I saw him at church I went to  give him a hug and said hey handsome good to see you out.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I really enjoyed the few years of fellowship at first United Methodist Church in Ocala. It was a pleasure knowing Mike he’ll be missed by many. Steve Rutkowski
