

Michael grew up in Glenn Dale, Maryland and was a lifelong fan of the Washington Redskins Football team, the Washington Nationals Baseball team and the Washington Capitals Hockey team. He was employed with PEPCO, Washington DC for 25 years. Michael moved to Lusby, Maryland where he met the love of his life, Nancy. Michael and Nancy were married on a beach in St. Lucia in 2008. Once he retired in 2012 they relocated to Carolina Shores, North Carolina.
Michael loved playing golf, when he wasn’t playing golf, he was watching golf. He and his wife were able to attend the Masters in April of 2017, in Augusta, Georgia. Which was always a lifelong dream of his.
Michael loved to travel with beloved wife Nancy, going to Sunset Beach and many other beaches that he traveled to, and enjoyed driveway parties with his neighbors. He also had a very special place in his heart for his fur babies; Sonny, Sandie and Chester.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Terry; mother, Peggy Terry; uncle, Paul; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to, The Multiple Myeloma Foundation, The American Heart Association and The American Cancer Society.
