She is survived by her sister; Sharlene R. Merkle; nephews, Joel (Natalie) Pignataro, Ethan (Leslie) Pignataro; great-niece, Lauryn Marie Pignataro; great-nephew, Luke Matthew Pignataro; along with numerous cousins. She is also survived by her canine companion, Wiggles.
Michelle was a gifted artist who loved working with her hands. She created beautiful pieces of art, especially with seashells. Michelle was also a proud member of Zeta Tau Alpha. She was a wonderful sister and she loved her nephews deeply. Michelle and Sharlene enjoyed numerous trips together as they both had a passion for travel and adventure.
