

Nancy Jo came into the world a whopping 14 lbs 3/4 oz. on March 5,1955 in El Dorado, Kansas to Wayne A. and Martha Jo Coventon Clark. Nancy Jo held the record for largest baby born at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital for many decades.
She attended school in Leon and Rosalia, Kansas and graduated from Rosalia High School. She was employed by United States Secret Service as a Counterfeit Systems Manager for 35 years. This job allowed her to travel the world and meet co-workers who would become lifelong friends. After retirement she moved to Little River, South Carolina to her beloved beach house. Here she quickly made great friends, some who became more like family.
Nancy Jo was full of talent and creativity. Her crafting interests were quilting, paper crafting and card making. She made beautiful work of everything she tried. Nancy Jo was fond of cats and always had one or two to keep her company. She loved volunteering and was an asset wherever her passion led her.
Nancy Jo loved traveling. After retirement, she would go wherever her car would take her, no distance too far. She loved taking the road less traveled and frequently commented that she could get nowhere fast.
Nancy Jo was a woman driven by faith and we will all be together again one day.
Survivors include: loving kitty companions Smudge and Tiffany; brothers Kenneth and Cathy Clark of Yorba Linda, California; David and Trudy Clark of Alamo, Texas; Lynn Clark of Halstead, Kansas; nieces and nephews, Jill and Matt Tresaugue of The Woodlands, Texas; Allie and Paul Krigbaum of Ahwatukee, Arizona; Justin and Laura Writer of McAllen, Texas; Annessa and Brian Russell of Newton, Kansas; Adam Clark of Prairie Village,Kansas as well as many well loved great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Frances Clark.
Memorials in her memory may be made to Kind Keepers Animal Rescue in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Rosalia United Methodist Church in Rosalia, Kansas.
