Otto E. Lewis, 83, died February 6, 2019 at Embrace Hospice House, Myrtle Beach, SC.

Born on June 7, 1935 in Wampee, SC, he was the son of the late Julius Pechay Lewis and Ava Ann Benton Lewis.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his children, Edward Lewis, Cynthia Beal, Patricia Bane, and Diana Farrell; brothers, Julius Pechay (J.P.) and Edmond Lewis; brother-in-law, William Shay; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and his faithful K-9 companion, “Zoe”. He is predeceased by his wife Norma Shay Lewis; brothers, Archie, Oscar, Odis, Elroy; sisters, Idelle Giles, Alta Powell, and Annie Stephens.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 pm on Saturday, February 9 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday at Wampee Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

There are so many memories but to me listening to his stories and watching him make his rabbit are my favorite ones. My papa was a selfless man who would do anything he could for anyone. He missed my nana so much and I know they are together in heaven. I love you guys.
