Pamela Renee Skorupski (Hebert), 61, a devoted, loving, and fierce advocate for her family and friends, unexpectedly passed away on October 26, 2025. Born just minutes after her twin sister, Penny, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, on December 13, 1963, Pamela’s greatest joy and achievement was her large and loving family.
As a wife, sister, daughter, godmother, mother of two, and grandmother to her little pierogi; Landon, Pamela was the beating heart of her family. She spent most of her life in Connecticut, where her career took many paths — most notably as a supervisor at Eversource, helping people keep their lights on and leading a large, dedicated team. Later, she followed her entrepreneurial spirit, opening a family-run DJ and photo booth business that brought joy to countless couples beginning their lives together.
Pamela eventually moved to beautiful South Carolina to be closer to her twin sister, where the two shared an unbreakable bond and supported each other through life’s many challenges. Her greatest joys in life were being a mother and, most recently, a grandmother. Pamela’s mantra was simple: material things didn’t matter — what mattered most were the experiences shared with the people you love.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Joe; her children, Jordan and Elliott, their partners, Miranda and Carlos; and her adored grandson and little pierogi, Landon. She is also survived by her mother, Peggy; her siblings, Tammy (Joe), Jeff (Eileen), Penny (Alan), and Robert (Katie); her goddaughter, Alex (Brandon); and many beloved nieces and nephews — Jessica (Marc), Jennifer (Lance), Shelby (Zach), Jake, Noah, Dana (Mike), TJ, Gage, Amaya, Brooklyn, Bailey, Sophia, Georgia, Tessa, Lily, Zoé, Carter, Caden, and Kayce.
She is further survived by her in-laws, Stanley (Dot), Carol (Terry), and Tito; her honorary daughter, Jaime (Ryan) and their children, Demetria (Cody) and Dante (Jennifer); her best friend Linda (Bob); and her two grand-kitties, Typhon and Icarus.
Pamela was predeceased by her father, Bill; her mother-in-law, Doris; her grandfather, Woodrow; and her sister-in-law, Marlene.
Pamela’s memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025. Services will start at Immaculate Conception in Terryville, Connecticut at 10:30 a.m. Afterwards, a celebration of life will be held across the street at The Lyceum from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Bright colored clothing is required. Drinks (and of course Pamela’s favorite - tequila) will be provided. In lieu of flowers and in the spirit of Pamela’s charitable legacy we are requesting her loved ones pay it forward in her honor in the coming days, weeks, and years. She regularly made it a point to make a stranger or a loved one’s day just a bit better. Anyone attending the celebration of life, the family kindly requests you bring a paper rose.
If you were lucky enough to know Pamela you know she couldn’t “hep it” but love you a bushel and a peck, and hug around the neck.
Suggested charities Pamela was passionate about: American Stroke Association, Alzheimer’s Association and American Heart Association.
Lee Funeral Home and Crematory of Little River is serving the family.
