Patricia O. Thompson

Patricia "Patty" Thompson , of North Myrtle Beach, was surrounded by family when she left for Heaven on January 14th, 2025. Patty was a loving daughter to Mary Charles (Guy)Mallory and Oscar Evans Thompson and was born and raised in the North Myrtle Beach community. Patty was preceded in death by her sister, Lynn Faircloth, and her grandson Durham Chandler. Ms. Patty was a woman of many names, and she loved all of them. Patty's love for her family is a lasting legacy. Patty is "Mama" to her daughter Dana Lynn Lewis ( Mel). Patty is "Mother" to her boys Larry Wade Chandler Jr. (Meredith) and Jason Shane Chandler. Patty's grandchildren Brady, Kyle, Rivers, Cooper, Mallaree,McKenna love their "MeMama" and shared her as the "Great-MeMama" with Ava, Charlie and Sloane. Patty welcomed all of our new additions as the family has grown. Patty inherited bonus grandchildren, added in new spouses, fiancés , or a special someone and she even loved our zoo of fur babies when they showed up for a visit. Patty is the glue that held this family tight and the light that drew everyone home to her. Patty was the giver of hope when we were chasing a dream, and the honest voice of reason when we may not have wanted to hear it. Patty will forever be loved, admired and missed by many.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 11:00 AM at Lee's Funeral Home. There will be a short visitation prior to the service and a family graveside service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Wampee. Donations may be made to The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach in lieu of flowers.
