Paul was a exceptional friend for thirty plus years. Anyone who was fortunate enough to spend time, or to be friends with Paul, was very lucky, indeed. Paul invested his full self in whatever he was doing, whether it was working, playing, or helping a friend. Richmond and Chesterfield citizen reaped the benefit of Paul's intelligence, knowledge, and compassion, through his commitment, to the oath he swore, as a law enforcement officer, and belief in God. Thank you for a job well done. You will be missed.

End of watch 10-7.

Thank God he sends us the people we need in the right time. Blessings for Robin and all of Paul's family.

Paul was the husband of my Stepfathers late sister Susan. Paul was also a fellow BROTHER IN BLUE always giving me life advice and a great source of energy and conversation. He took the time to visit us at Top Sail Beach last summer just for the day and it was a great visit even though brief. Paul will be missed and he was and is always loved.

I have known Paul since high school and a few years later after graduation, we worked together with the Ocean City Police Department back in the 70's.
We reconnected a couple of years ago and had many great conversations talking about days gone by. We had always said we were going to catch up with each other here on the Eastern Shore, unfortunately that never happened. Was hoping to see him at our 50 year NHS reunion this year.
Paul was a great friend and a brother in blue who you always knew had your back on and off the job.
Paul, your presence will be missed. Safe travels as you patrol the heavens and continue to watch over us. R.I.P

Ginger:

I am so devastated to learn of Paul's passing. Although we did not keep in close touch during these past years, the friendship bond we shared as teenagers and young adults assured a life-long friendship that endured as we became old friends. I will never forget your brother or the wonderful times we shared with one another. Paul had an infectious giggle that belied the fierce and competitive athlete he was on the football field or at a track meet. I am blessed for having known him. To Paul, Fair winds and following seas, my dear friend.

Addendum.
Actually his police officer's photo looks familiar. I must have seen him at a past Reunion. Rest in peace dear friend.

Paul:
We obviously met somewhere in NHS, but not sure we knew each other. May you rest in peace and condolences to your family.

Paul and I were police academy mates in the 40th basic in Richmond Va. Then we both served together with Chesterfield PD. May you be comforted during your time of grief.
