Paula B. White

Paula Bayne White, 83, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 31, 2026. She was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, and moved to North Myrtle Beach in the early 1980s, where she later met the love of her life, Herbert S. White Jr. They were married on February 14, 1982, and shared 40 loving years of marriage until his passing in 2022.

A devoted mother of four, Paula loved shopping and was always fashionable, taking pride in her appearance and personal style. She and Herbert enjoyed being out on the town together and spending time with friends and family along the Grand Strand.

At this time, there are no service arrangements.

Paula was predeceased by her father, Paul Bayne; mother, Mary Bayne Sharpe; brothers, Larry and Gene Bayne; husband, Herbert S. White Jr.; daughters, Paula Kelly Vinsett and Lillian Dawn Lee; and son, Christopher Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Hope Norbech (Jimmy); brother, James Bayne (Ellen); step-daughter, Vanna White (John); step-son, Chip White (Eve); grandchildren, Kit Smith, Kyra Ethridge, Brittney Alloway, Tea Norbech, Richard “Rip” Cook, Michael Cook, Elizabeth Vinesett and Crawford White; and many beloved great-grandchildren. Paula will be remembered for her warmth, grace, and enduring love for her family and friends.
