

Born on September 23, 1944, in Jamestown, NY Penny was the cherished daughter of the late Norman and Lilian Robinson. She spent much of her life in Jamestown before later residing in Stow, OH and eventually making her home in Little River.
Penny was the beloved wife of John Magnuson, whom she married on July 9, 1994. Together, they shared many years of companionship.
She is survived by her husband, John Magnuson; her children, Christopher (Lisa) Vullo, Patricia (Joseph) Barabas, Stephanie (Jeff) Keller, Jon Vullo; and her stepchildren, Rebecca (Jason) Burchfiel and Donald Magnuson. She also leaves behind many who brought immense joy to her life, including 18 cherished grandchildren, two great-grandsons and her loving dog Lexi.
Penny was preceded in death by her beloved sister Lynne Tobias of Jamestown, NY.
A proud graduate of Bemus Point High School, Class of 1962, Penny later attended Jamestown Community College. Throughout her life, she built meaningful connections through her work and service to others. In Jamestown, she worked for Hopes Windows, Century Catalog Store, American Red Cross, Quality Markets, and Alltel. After relocating to Stow in 1996, she continued her career with Alltel Corporation.
Following retirement, Penny embraced work that reflected her warm spirit and love of people and animals serving at Allen’s Hallmark in Stow and later at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, where she worked as both a tour guide and tour coordinator. She especially enjoyed sharing stories and welcoming visitors to a place she admired.
Penny found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. She was an avid reader, a devoted animal lover, and someone who treasured time with family and friends. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A celebration of Life will be held in Stow, OH at a later date.
