Peter Raymond Higgins, 81, died February 3, 2020 at McLeod Seacoast Medical Center.
Born on April 5, 1938 in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Edwin S. and Mary Smith Higgins.
Mr. Higgins served his country proudly in the United State Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Carol A. Smith Higgins; daughter, Gale Higgins; brother, Dick Higgins; sister, Carol Kraft; and grandson, Ryan Pietraszek.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, 4000 Hwy 9 East, Little River, SC 29566.
