Ralph Wojtowicz passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Little River, South Carolina in the early morning of May 23, 2026. Ralph is survived by his wife, Sally with whom he spent 60 “wonderful and glorious” years, son, Ralph (Susan); daughter, Michele Miller (Shane); grandsons, Austin and Wesley Miller and William and Ralph Wojtowicz; brother, Wesley; sisters, Stefanie Bergeron (Jeff) and Gail (Macie). He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley; mother, Mary (Bogusz); step-mother, Janet (Talarowski); and brother Ken (Carmen).
Ralph was born in Detroit, Michigan. He attended St. Ladislaus Elementary School in Hamtramck and Denby High School in Detroit where he was an Eagle Scout. After completing high school at age 16, Ralph attended Wayne State University where he later earned a degree in History. He joined the United States Air Force in 1957 and served as a medical lab technician.
Ralph’s first job was regional sales director for Delta Airlines. He then spent 19 years with Holiday Inns in Memphis. Some of his favorite career memories are from his 30 years with Flexible Plan Investments where he worked in sales until his retirement.
Ralph enjoyed time with family including travel, cooking, eating out, watching sports, and the Wojtowicz family pumpkin carving parties. Ralph taught us the importance of laughter and making others smile. He loved to be the life of the party and loved Motown music. In the fields of loving and generous husband, father, brother, and friend, Ralph was outstanding.
He is greatly missed. In lieu of flowers please make donations to: Little River Fire Association
