Randy Moore

Randy W. Moore, 73, of the Tidewater community, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, peacefully entered eternal rest on January 21, 2025, with his loving wife Jo by his side. Born in Rutherfordton, NC on April 27, 1951, to the late Kenneth and Ruth Morrow Moore. Randy is survived by his wife of 34 years Jo Moore; brothers Marty (Cheri) and Gary Moore; stepson Chris Collier (Dana) and sons Pearce, Jack and Tate, along with several nieces and a nephew.

After retiring from the City of Charlotte, Randy and Jo moved from Lake Wylie, SC to North Myrtle Beach. Of the Christian faith, Randy was a member of Little River United Methodist Church. When not making memories traveling, Randy took great pride working in his yard and taking advantage of sunny days at the beach.

Known for his gracious smile and easy going way, Randy was always available to lend a helping hand and thoroughly enjoyed keeping up with his classmates of 1969 from West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC. Randy loved watching his team the Carolina Panthers play football. A devoted fan – win or lose – he never lost faith! His bucket list was to visit every NFL stadium which he did with the exception of five.

Randy’s legacy of love and dedication to family and friends will surely be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
