Ria L. Funkhouser

Born in Leesburg, Virginia on April 4, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Rodrick and Mildred Preston Quayle.

Ria was well known for her love of gambling, she always enjoyed a trip to Cherokee, North Carolina. She also loved animals. Ria was a member of the VFW Post 10804 in Little River.

She survived by her goddaughter, Theresa Greene and godson, Thomas Greene, along with her sister-in-law, Elaine Worthington. She was preceded in death by her parents along with her husband, Stephen Funkhouser.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory. The family would like to give a special thanks to Kim, Linda, Carolyn and Maryellen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kind Keeper Animal Shelter 1500 L D Drive North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
