

Richard C. Dolphin, 80, of Longs SC passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026. He was the loving husband of Vickie A. Dolphin. They were married for 49 years. Richard was born in Wallasey Cheshire, England. Son of the late Cyril and Hilda Dolphin. He retired from AT&T after 33 years of service as a Central Office Building Engineer.
After retiring he and his wife moved to Tennessee where he started a certified tree farm. Planting over 3,000 trees, raising ducks, creating a safe environment for the local wildlife. Richard loved to travel especially his trips to Antarctica to see the penguins and taking a cruise ship through the Panama Canal.
In addition to his wife, Richard is also survived by his brother, Paul, multiple children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also, his four-legged fur babies; Poppet, Waffles, Wren, and Munchka.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Samaritans Purse of North Myrtle Beach Humane Society.
The service and burial will be private.
