Richard Allen Frender

Following high school, Richard enlisted in the US Army where he proudly served as a Sgt. during two tours in Vietnam. Following Vietnam, he enrolled in Washington University where he received his Bachelor’s degree, and began a lengthy career in hospitality, specializing in hotel management.

On July 10, 1970, Richard married Linda Baxley, and the two were blessed with two sons, Christopher and Scott. His job allowed them to travel the world before his retirement and in 2012, they moved to Little River, SC. Once in Little River, they joined King of Glory Lutheran Church. Richard loved his family and his friends and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife and sons, he is survived by six grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at a later date at King of Glory Lutheran Church.
