Dear Diane,
As I looked through the pictures, I was amazed by all the antics. It seems like his personality was always the same outgoing, friendly, and letting people know he was a believer. Some of his tee shirts are so revealing about the real Ricky. So glad to have known him, the person with the huge smile and open heart. I can still see him in church giving the kids some good teasing. They loved him and he loved them back.

Heaven is even more blessed than before.

Ricky, my love. I am so sad that I don't get to be with you anymore. It was a long fight for both of us. You were strong and my knight in shining armor. I am blessed to have met you and been your wife for nearly 16 years. You were the best husband a wife could ever dream of having. I am "Jealous of the Angels" around the throne tonight.
You loved to joke and make people laugh, so it's fitting that you would go to Jesus on April Fool's Day. You are nobody's fool. It's also fitting that you wanted to be with Jesus for Easter.
I love you forever. I miss you and will miss you every day for the rest of my days on earth. I will be okay, because God is not done with me yet.

I had the joy of seeing Diane and Ricky at NSCC, with her loving attention to him and Ricky's adoring confidence in her care.
Rest in the love you shared, Diane.
