Robert E. “Bob” Flanagan, 84, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Born on January 8, 1933 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Frances and Eleanor Connolly Flanagan.
Mr. Flanagan proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of VFW Post #10804 and American Legion Post #186.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Nancy Carapello Flanagan; son, Robert J. Flanagan; daughters, Lynn Marie Flanagan, Jean M. Gross; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm on Friday, December 22 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the service at VFW Post 10804.
