
He was the loving husband of Deborah (Faulk) Salvatore. They were married for 50 years.
Robin was born on February 23, 1953 at Otis Air Force Base, Buzzards Bay, MA.
Son of the late Carmen and Ruth (Kifer) Salvatore.
He retired as a manager from the family business, West End Builder Supply. He attended Salem College in W. Virginia.
After moving from Jeannette to Little River 9 years ago, Robin worked for the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, as a crew leader for the Great Christmas Light Show, where he was affectionately referred to as Father Christmas. Music was his passion, he was a drummer in a rock band in high school and college, then played with the Modelaires for 30 years.
He helped start the Jeannette Soccer Club, as a coach and referee coordinator.
In addition to his wife, Robin is survived by a son, Paul Salvatore (Natalie). A daughter, Nicole Salvatore Keppler (Nate).
Grandchildren; Giada Keppler and Nash Keppler.
A brother, Lawrence Salvatore (Cindy) and a sister-in-law, Sherrie Wood (Woody).
The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1100 8th Ave. N., North Myrtle Beach, SC.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jeannette Band Parents Association for the Music Department or the Carl A, Masciantonio Memorial Scholarship Fund C/O Jeannette Community Band, Box 97, Jeannette, PA
