Born on May 28, 1936 in Detroit, MI she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Leonora A. (Leszozynski) Sitter. Sally was the beloved wife of William A. Mitchem.
Sally worked as a Legal Assistant for the Department Of Justice - Immigration and Appeals. She worked until she was 70. Sally was also in the Foreign Service and had assignments in Germany, France, and Morocco.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Mark Allard; her daughters, Nancy Allard; Jackie Brooks; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens, N. Myrtle Beach.
