He was the husband of the late Angelina (DeGennero) Tramontana.
Sal was born on October 5, 1936 and the son of the late Sabatiano and Jeannie (Zorbo) Tramontana.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Sal retired from the New York Transit Authority. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach, SC
Survivors include his children, Paul Tramontana, Thomas Tramontana and Diane Kingsley; his stepson, Robert Temple; and three grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1100 8th Ave N, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582, on October 16, 2026, at 11:00 am.
