Sheila Chestnut Bell

Sheila was a woman who found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She was a devoted fan of the Carolina Gamecocks, an excellent cook who loved preparing meals for her family, and someone who truly cherished time spent with those she loved. She held a special place in her heart for North Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove, enjoyed traveling to the mountains, and absolutely loved visiting Florida. Whether shopping, traveling, or gathering around the table, Sheila created lasting memories with family and friends.

More than anything, Sheila valued her family. She built strong, loving relationships not only with relatives but also with many dear friends whom she considered family.

She is survived by her loving son, Charley Bell (Heather); her brother, Chris Johnson (Susan); her sister, Janet Bates (Dewayne); her cherished grandchildren, Emily and Ryan; and her second mom, Glenda Chestnut. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held at Living Water Baptist Church, 1569 Hwy 9 E, Longs, SC 29568, on May 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on May 8, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

Burial will take place at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens, 5000 Hwy 17, North Myrtle Beach, SC, on May 8, 2026.
