Shirley Palmer Recchio

Shirley Palmer Recchio, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior April 15, 2020.

Born on April 28, 1926 in Englewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Jessie Palmer Smith.

Mrs. Recchio is survived by her children, Shirley Peirone of Little River, SC, Robert Recchio (Connie) of Leland, NC, Philip Recchio (Carol) of Franklin, NJ, and Thomas Recchio (Eleni) of Storrs, CT; grandchildren, Robert Peirone (Jerry), Dana Recchio, Philip Recchio (Kathleen), Tammy Griffith (Chris), Amanda Costa (Zachary Ellis), Elva Smith, Owen Recchio, Devin Recchio, and Thomas George Recchio; great grandchildren, Jessica Baena (Hector), Brandon Gully, Diana Recchio (David Higgins), Anthony Recchio, Kaylee Recchio, CJ Griffith, Jonathan Griffith, Jessica Griffith, Brittany Costa (Pedro Sotomayor), Chad Costa, Tori Costa, Cassidy Bonitch, Luke Bonitch, and Ashley Bonitch; and Great great grandchildren, Breanna, Hector, Ynez, Josue, and Liliana Baena, and Pedro Sotomayor. She will be joining her parents in heaven, along with her sister, Virginia Barber; brother, Stanley A. Smith; granddaughter, Mary V. Recchio; and husband of her youth and father of her children, Philip Recchio.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be held privately with the family.
