Stanislau "Stan" R. Kwasny

Stanislav “Stan” R. Kwasny, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 in Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Born in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Beatrice McKinney Kwasny.

An electrician, Stan retired following over 20 years of service with the NYC Transit Authority. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army. Stan was the loving and devoted husband of Jacqueline “Jackie” Kwasney. A talented singer, Stan loved music and was a member of The Horizon band. Following his retirement from NYC Transit, he and Jackie relocated to South Carolina where he was an owner and builder with GNS Builders.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Kwansy; son, Kurtis Kwasny (Sarah); grandchildren, Lily, Lucy, and Jack Kwasny. He is also survived by his two sisters, Pat Edwards and Vicki O’Hara. A sister, Rae and two brothers, Stephen and Randy preceded Stan in death.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC.
