Stephen Wallace

Born in Jamestown, TN on June 22, 1936, he was a son of the late Clarence and Maxine Wallace.

Steve attended Castle Heights Military Academy, graduating in 1954 and served in the US Army during WWII until 1964. Most of his time was spent in Germany. He married Betty Jean Gaw December 3, 1964 and graduated from Tennessee Tech spring of that year. They moved all over the Southeast opening and managing a construction supply company. They resided in Nashville, TN for many years building homes. Steve and Betty Jean later moved to Cape Canaveral, FL and worked for NASA. He retired in 2013 and moved to Sunset Beach, NC.

Survivors include daughters Lee Ann Conners and husband Peter Conners of Sunset Beach, NC;

Teresa Lawson and husband Curt Lawson of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren Ashley Fletcher and husband Shane Fletcher; Joshua Bulla and partner Christopher Zimmer; Adam Livingston and wife April Livingston; Mark Livingston; great grandchildren, Hannah Grace Fletcher; Katherine Lee Fletcher; Liam Livingston; and Lily Livingston. His beloved wife, Betty Jean Wallace and siblings Jo Wallace Hutchinson, Rosalyn Travers, and James (Jim) Wallace all preceded him.

A graveside service will be held at a later time in Cookeville, TN where both Steve and Jean Wallace will be laid to rest together.
