Steven Hill, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed peacefully in his sleep early in the morning on December 29.
He was born in Huntington, West Virginia and raised by his loving parents, the late Spencer Hill and Naomi Hill. After graduating from Huntington High School, Steve briefly attended Marshall University before leaving to pursue a career as a business owner and entrepreneur.
Steve was best known to the North Myrtle Beach Community as the owner and operator of the Golden Griddle Pancake House. With the help of his late wife, Susan Hill, Steve has operated the Golden Griddle since 1981. Throughout the Grand Strand Community, Steve was known for his kindness, sincerity, and generosity.
Steve is survived by his three sons, Steven Hill, Stuart Hill, and Samuel Hill.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4 (4:00-6:00) at Lee Funeral Home. The burial will be held on Thursday, January 5 at 10am at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens.
