Thomas was born on November 19, 1952 in Georgetown, SC. Son of the late Arris Elwell and Jolie Audrey (Ard) Poston.
He was a self-employed contractor, having owned many different businesses. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
In addition to his wife, Thomas is also survived by a son, Thomas A.E. Poston (Julie), a step son, Devin Price.
Two grandsons; Anthony and Clayton. A step grandson, T.J. (Brandi). Two great grandsons; Arris and Liam. A sister, Janice Poston Sleap (Dave). Host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Poston and four sisters; Eurna Jean Owens, Judy Harter, Patricia Ann Carringer, and Emily Faye Westbury.
A celebration of life service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Hwy 90 Little River.
