Thomas Daniel Schindler, 77, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York he was the son of the late Richard Otto Schindler and Florence Dorothy Richardson Schindler. He was the loving and devoted husband of Greta Strevell Schindler.
Having worked his career in medical malpractice insurance, Thomas retired from Aetna Insurance Company. He also retired, after many years, from his position as Town Magistrate for the town of Claverack, New York. He and Greta relocated from New York to South Carolina in 2005 because of his love of golf. He worked for Myrtle Beach National Golf Course and enjoyed his days on the course.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 52 years are his children: Daniel & wife Jennifer, Eric, Andrew & wife Holly, Matthew, and Amanda. Also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date in New York.
