A graduate of Midlands Technical College, Tommy was a technician in heating and air. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. Tommy also spent spare time building model cars. His favorite activity was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was very excited about the upcoming birth of his first great-grandchild.
Surviving are his children, Douglas McDonald, Ashley Ramsey, Brandy McDonald, Dustin McDonald, Christopher Austin; brother, Ricky McDonald; and sister, Claudia Holloway. Eleven grandchildren also survive him. Preceding Tommy in death was his sister, Patricia Ann McDonald.
