This amazing man was my 1st cousin but more like my brother, we grew up together his Dad and my Mom were sister and brother, I spent so many summers with him, he taught me so many things but mostly he taught me how to be kind to others, how to never give up, I will miss him so very much but I know he is in heaven, and he will always watch over me. RiP billy I love you..

From the first day we visited the church where we would later become members, there was one constant, Bill at the door with that wide grin, sparkle in his eye and hands outreached-usually to “grab” what I had baked for fellowship. I’m going to miss that, and I will hold Joan, as well as Stephanie in my heart at this most difficult time.

I met Bill in grammar school and we grew up a couple of streets apart from each other. We became friends and spent most of grammar and Junior High in the same room or homeroom. Early on, Bill was nicknamed "Wild Bill", even though he was quite diminutive, I guess the name stuck. Live on Wild Bill and now you can listen to Boss Boss Radio all the time commercial free!

I met Bill trailing behind his girl friend Joan many years ago at the East Stroudsburg Methodist Church in Pa.I remember his happy ways and large smile.I have known Joan for 40 years and kept in contact with her upon their move.I will miss his kind ways and gentle nature. Most of all his smile.

Biography

William Martin Campbell JR
born 09/02/55 in Scranton, PA, lived in Southngton, CT for about 45 years prior to moving back to East Stroudsburg, PA in 2002 to be closer to me. September 2009 Bill, my sister and I moved to Shallotte ,NC for a change to be closer to friends and meet new people. about 9 months after we moved here Bill had a stroke that effected his right side. he spent 7 weeks in a rehab hospital to relearn how do everything from walking to feeding him self and everything in between. when he was finally released from rehab he had rehab at home for another month where I Iearned how to take care of him. with a lot of work he was able to walk again with the aid of a cane and eventually not needing anything to help him walk other then stepping on and off a curb. prior to having a stroke my sister bill and i enjoyed playing mini golf and played at almost but not all mini golf courses in myrtle beach trying to see which 1 we likes the best. there were a few we went back to as we tried them out. when we first moved to north carolina we went to villiage point united methodist church but felt something was missing. Christmas eve 2009 Stephanie (my sister Bill's sister in law) and i went to little river united methodist church and thought it felt like home....we found our self there again good Friday 2010 and came home told bill we are switching churches and started going to little river April 2010 and have been active there ever since. Bill was great guy. He enjoyed helping out at church. we were both greeters for the contemporary service at Little River Methodist church, helped with drive through prayer, helped park cars for the blue crab fest. He enjoyed listening to Boss Boss radio,,,we both made friends with the boss jocks. he graduated Southington high school in 1973. he had 2 aunts and several cousins. Bill and I were married august 22, 2010. Bill passed away 11/29/18 at home.
