William R. Hutchins, 73, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1947 in Rutland, VT where he lived until the age of 17 when he left to join the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Sondra Hutchins; two children, Gregory Hutchins of Myrtle Beach, Allison Hellhake of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Susan Hutchins; and brother, Gary Hutchins. William was also blessed with four grandchildren, Samuel Hellhake, Molly Hellhake, William Hutchins, and Jonathan Hellhake.
There will be no viewing or local services, as the family will return William to Vermont in the summer of 2021 for final services where he will be placed to rest on the hillside where he and his beloved began their life journey.
