Albert Edward Entwistle Jr.

Albert E. Entwistle, Jr., 77, passed away Thursday at his residence in Livingston surrounded by his loving family. They will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Sunday, October26, 2-6 PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, on Monday at 10AM followed by the committal service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

Born in West Orange, Albert has lived in Livingston for many years. He was an Insulator for Asbestos Workers Local #32 for many years retiring in 1994. A member of St. Philomena’s Church, he served as an usher, Eucharistic Minister and was an active volunteer. Albert was also a volunteer at St. John’s Soup Kitchen in Newark and was an avid golfer. Albert was a member of the Livingston Knights of Columbus and served as a past Grand Knight.

Predeceased by his son Albert E. III and sister Barbara, he is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Savage), his devoted children: Robert and wife Betty, Richard, Linda Julian and husband Rob, Lori Cunningham and husband Jim, Michael and wife Cheryl, Patti Franchino and husband Michael and is also survived by his fifteen loving grandchildren: Elizabeth, Katie, Clare, Grace, Matthew, Michelle, Melissa, Jimmy, John, Jean, Christopher, Kelly, Tommy, Michael Patrick and Ayden.
