Albert Charles Flinn

Albert, affectionately known as “Ace,” was born on December 4, 1934, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to Charles and Mary (Stein) Flinn. He moved to Livingston at the age of five and graduated from Grover Cleveland High School, Caldwell, NJ in 1952. Albert had a long career at Bell Atlantic, where he worked for over 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Pauline Flinn (née Fenske); his son, Richard Flinn; and his parents.

Albert is survived by his son, Patrick and daughter-in-law Krista; his grandchildren, Richard “RJ” Jr., Patrick Jr., Sean, Devin, and Connor; his sister, Mary CeCe; and his brothers, Robert and Arthur.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ 07039. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 28 Livingston Ave., Roseland, NJ 07068.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Livingston First Aid Squad or the American Cancer Society.
