

Carmen Longo, 81, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Born in Orange, NJ, Carmen resided in Livingston for about 40 years before moving to Forked River, NJ. He was the founder and owner of Arrowhead Roofing and Siding in Livingston, NJ. Carmen was an avid Yankees fan, who was kind and generous to everyone he encountered. He was also a long-time parishioner of St. Philomena’s Church in Livingston.
Carmen was predeceased by his beloved wife Angelina, his 8 siblings, and his son-in-law Thomas Fischer. He is survived by his loving children JoAnn Salvadore, Mary Ann Fischer, and Vincent Longo and his wife Libby. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Angela Stoppelkamp and her husband Jeff, Carmen Burns, Deana Marie Salvadore, Thomas Fischer and his wife Krystina, Vincent Fischer, Anthony Fischer, Joseph Fischer Angelina Longo, and Kristina Longo, as well as his sisters Lena Robles and Katherine Colo.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, Livingston, on Tuesday, January 26 at 10AM with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
