

Carmine A. Duca of Livingston, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. His family will be receiving friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Friday September 7, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church Livingston on Saturday September 8, 2012 at 10 am, followed by the committal service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Born in Newark, NJ, he and his wife Angela lived in Livingston for 46 years. Carmine received his Bachelor’s Degree from Seton Hall University while also serving in the Army. He had a distinguished career in commercial real estate lending working with some of the largest developers and banks in the nation. He enjoyed playing golf, watching hockey, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren as they were the light of his life. He will be remembered as a loving and generous father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Angela Duca. Carmine is survived by his children, Dawn Klotz and husband, Steven, Dianne Huot and husband, Randy, Mary Ann Duca and Ken Duca and wife, Kristen. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Katie, Jessica, Jordan, Amelia, Madison, Milla, Arden and his sister Dolly and brother Daniel. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 6725 Lyons Street P.O. Box 7 East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007.
