To The Sexton Family:
It has been a true kick in the gut upon hearing the news of Mrs. Sexton's passing. If my parents had a computer they would list far too many stories of times with Carol, Terry, and family. My father first met Carol when he almost hit her with his car in the Bottle King parking lot. While she told my father some words, I always remember the shock on his face because he never heard a woman ever use such words so fluently. And through some twist of fate, our families became great friends.
I will always remember Mrs. Sexton's wonderful smile, her supreme command over the house, and her never ending love for her kids. She was a tiger mom before the name was invented and one tough woman.
Thanks for being a part of our lives and leaving us with memories of joy, love, and great fun.

Dear Terry, Michael, Vincent and Sean: There are so many memories of Carol and all of you that we have. When you were growing up with our four children, the fun we all had the barbeques and family get togethers we had with Battito's, such genuine fun. All we ever did was laugh, and enjoy each other. One time Carol and I had a talk about how much we each disliked our kitchen sets, and so we decided to trade with each other and all Bob and Terry did was complain about moving the furniture and Carol shot her usual one liner.....'don't forget about all the money we are saving you!!
I remember going to see Jaws with Carol, Adele, Marcia, Joan and Anne. She was very pregnant with Sean and Marsha managed to rearrange seating for Carol so we could all sit together and she could be on the aisle....just in case Sean decided to show up before he was supposed to. The laughter that ensued was mind bending. Carol and I spent a lot of time at the pool, I sat in the shade, she sat in the sun, but right near me and we would talk and talk and talk. Those years were just so wonderful to all of us and will always be cherished. Love to all of you, Peggy and Bob
