Her legacy is one of unwavering perseverance, a deep love for her family, and an innate sense of personal style.
Daughter of Louise and Tommy Krywinski, Carol’s early life was spent in Jersey City, NJ with her dear sister, Mary Beth Rose, her cousins, and grandparents. Carol built a career in the fashion industry over 40 years, leading sales and partnerships for Anne Klein, Liz Claiborne, Isaac Mizrahi, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein. Carol married her husband, Jeffrey, in 1992. The two have since built a life collecting elegant antiques, caring for their cats and dachshunds, and listening to rock’n’roll. Carol was generous, kind, and authentic, with a sharp wit and a ready smile. Her home was a place for family and friends to gather in the warm and inviting atmosphere she curated, and she always loved a chance to catch up over coffee and sweets.
Carol leaves behind her husband, Jeffrey Zacher; sister, Mary Beth Rose; nephew, David Matthew Rose, his wife Meghan and their two children Parker and Lyla; and nephews and nieces, Chris, Monica, Jason, and Josh Zacher.
