Obituary of Charles D. Curcio
Charles D. Curcio of Livingston, N.J. passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 23, 2022. He did it the only way he knew how, his way. Charlie was born in Newark on November 8, 1937. He graduated from Irvington High School in 1954. After high school he joined the Navy and served four years as a HT on the submarine base located in Norfolk, VA. Charlie owned and operated Apollo Welding Inc., located in Irvington, for thirty years before retiring in 2002. During his retirement he spent his time enjoying woodworking, building model ships and model cars. He is predeceased by his parents, Rose and Charles along with his siblings Josephine, Rose Marie and Patricia. Charlie is survived by his four loving children Dawn, Charles Jr., Hope and Cynthia along with many grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at St. Philomena’s Roman Catholic Church, 396 S. Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:30am. Interment to immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
