Clifford John Brennan

Born in Newark, NJ, Cliff graduated from Orange High School in 1966 and lived in Verona, NJ before moving back to Orange, NJ. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service before spending most of his career as a self-employed home improvement contractor. Cliff took great pride in his work and brought his unique sense of artistry and style to every project.

In his free time, Cliff could be found spending time with his family and friends, caring for his beloved cats, watching movies and betting on the horses. He loved to sit in his backyard and share funny stories, making those around him smile, laugh and feel good. He always was quick to lend a helping hand and would do anything for his loved ones. Cliff was truly one-of-a-kind and his kind smile will be sorely missed.

Cliff was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Edith (Villani), his brothers, Thomas and Michael, and his son Daniel. He is survived by his beloved sons, Clifford, Jr. (Jennifer) of Roseland, NJ and Christopher (Dana) of Verona, NJ. Cliff also was the cherished grandfather of Jessica, Clifford III, James, Cara and Daniel.

A committal service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 11:00 am at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Clifford’s memory may be made to the American Humane Society.
